Join Jonathan Hales - published Architectural Historian who specialises in Nicholas Hawksmoor and Christopher Wren - on this unique tour of St Anne Limehouse. Learn about the history of St Anne’s, and of Hawksmoor’s other Stepney Churches. Observe the structural proportions of the church, and discover the clues they give to Hawksmoor’s design secrets, including his imitation of the medieval cathedral builders. Learn also about the influence on the design for St Anne’s of Hawksmoor’s mentor, Sir Christopher Wren.
The tour lasts an hour, from 2.30 to 3.30 on Saturday November 16th.
